This session will sharpen your ability to create believable environments and props through physicality and imagination. You’ll explore techniques for precision, consistency, and storytelling that make your scenes more immersive and dynamic—no actual props required. Through focused exercises and playful scenes, you’ll learn how to interact with imagined objects in a way that feels grounded and natural, adding depth and clarity to your performances. Discover how strong object work can enhance character choices, support scene partners, and keep audiences fully engaged. Whether you’re slicing onions or steering a spaceship, you’ll leave this workshop with tools to make your invisible world feel vividly real. Hudson: Hey, so I do improvisation… oh yes you need to know more, of course, yes, well… I started out performing in Florida, home of the gators and crazy bath soap eaters. I escaped with my life, thankfully, and attended about a dozen improv schools in the past 10 years, including some big names such as The Second City and Comedy Sportz. I have read probably every single improv book that has ever existed and I taught classes and workshops and I have traveled to the distant land of the west and east coast. I have performed hundreds, maybe thousands of live shows around the country… I just love improv and want to do it with everyone!
