In this class for Teens, you'll explore movement and unleash your creativity through engaging improv games, exercises, and prompts. Each session builds from foundational movement sequences to more impactful physical prompts, fostering personal discovery and group connection. Discover the joy of improvisation while enhancing your performance skills in a supportive and enthusiastic environment! Zoë Brielle Payne is a dancer, educator and interdisciplinary artist who will be facilitating the class. They have a background in movement and improvisation techniques. She is currently getting her MFA in Community Arts at MICA and her dance ensemble ZBRI will be touring to several festivals this November. She is currently an Americorps member serving Baltimore Improv Group. Classes will take place at BIG and will culminate with an open class, the last section for parents to observe. No Experience Necessary! Schedule: x4 Sundays 3/8-3/29 from 3-4:30pm (The final class will have an open time where parents can come in and watch!) Experience Level: None Cost: $150 Facilitator: Zoe Payne This class is limited to teens, ages 13-17 years old. No prior experience is necessary but space is limited, so please do not hesitate to sign up!
