Service Description

In this Module, you will learn fundamental coping skills with hands-on experiences to practice the skills through improv games and exercises. Learn coping skills and have fun while you do it! Schedule: x 4 Sundays March 8th-March 29th Time: 2:00-3:30pm Experience Level: No experience necessary Facilitator: Wyatt Unger and Jessica Unger Cost: $100 About the Facilitators: Wyatt Unger is a highly decorated actor and acting coach that specializes in improvisation. During his 20 years of experience on stage and screen, he has received 12 nominations for Best Actor with eight wins from film festivals around the globe. Wyatt currently directs "All County Improv" for Howard County Schools working a super team of high school improvisers made up of students from all across Howard County. In addition, he is also a founder of SHRUG Productions which recently had a film that was screened at Cannes. Wyatt's work in improvisation was even featured in "Serious Fun" by Ruth Yamamoto. Improv has had a tremendously profound impact on his life and helped him to grow as a person. He coaches the art from a place of courage and joy and finds that approach is contagious for his students that have gotten into elite acting schools from around the country. Jessica (she/her) has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, providing services to a wide array of clientele, aging from 5 years to 65 years old. She has a dynamic and eclectic client centered approach incorporating skills and interventions from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Trauma Focused CBT, Play Therapy, among others. She has been in private practice since 2022. Prior to that, she has worked in a variety of settings including schools, OMHC's, foster care, and for three years, she worked as an on-site Resident Advisor for college age students with varying neurodiversity.
