Service Description

Rooted in the fast, fearless style of Big Bang Improv, this workshop explores how performers can create structure without relying on a predetermined form. Instead of following a fixed map, students learn to “follow the funny,” listen for what the show wants, and use every moment, beat, line, movement, and audience reaction as potential inspiration for what comes next. Through exercises in deconstruction, pattern recognition, pivots, portals, and organic transitions, performers will learn how to build a shared language onstage and discover form in real time. This workshop is ideal for ensembles and improvisers who want to become more responsive, playful, and comfortable trusting the moment. By the end, students will have practical tools to create a unique, high-energy free-form show every time they step onstage. Day and Time: Sunday 8/2- 2:00-4:00pm Cost: $50 Facilitators: Will Luera Will Luera is an internationally recognized improviser, director, instructor, and arts leader whose work explores the power of comedy, collaboration, and human connection.
