Round 1: Odd Nourishment barely digests Big Worm!

The first round of the Baltimore Improv Showdown Season 6 got off to a huge start Friday night! First, Bobby and Dan introduced the category board, and then the illustrious trophy: the Ernest Alvarez Improv Cornucopia. Then our teams were introduced to the board. We’ve got 6 categories this season, each with a unique challenge behind them.
Odd Nourishment won the coin flip and allowed Big Worm to go first. Big Worm selected the Physical challenge of Booties on the Ground. At all times, at least one player had to have their butt touching the stage. In keeping with the challenge, the women of Big Worm treated us to a lamaze class with one coach for two expectant moms.
The stage was set for fierce competition when Odd Nourishment stepped up. They chose the category of Roleplay, and were challenged to make their show a support group for super villains. Hijinks ensued when one dastardly villain created a race of people with no buttocks. Muahahahaha!
Finally, the audience had to vote, and let me tell you, this first round was CLOSE. With a single vote difference, Odd Nourishment squeezed into the next round!
Round 2 begins Friday, April 18 at 9pm. Mouth Stuff will compete in a furious improv battle with the Fabulous Wonder Twins.
