Kristen McKenzie

'Youth Programming' Teacher

Kristen McKenzie has been training with BIG since 2015 and has been a company member since 2016. She is the current Assistant Director of Fade to Black and performs regularly with her Harold team Important Screws as well as her indie troupe Topiary. Kristen is the producer of “A Little Bit Show”, and brings improv to students all over the state with Young Audiences of Maryland. In addition to her training with BIG, she has taken intensives and classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC, and workshops in Charleston, SC, and Tokyo, Japan. 

When not doing improv Kristen loves cooking and traveling and spending time with her wonderful husband and fellow improviser, Barry, and her cats Icarus & Dionysus.
