Curious about Improv Law and Order but not sure you want to commit to a 7 week class? This 2 hour workshop will give you a taste of the class and the format. Mike Harris works as an actor & teaching artist, and has been a member of BIG for almost 20 years. He served as BIG's Executive/Artistic Director from 2010-17, and currently performs with Plan B and Unscripted. Mike has been an invited performer at Improv & Comedy Festivals from NYC to Austin and Philly to Chicago. While at BIG, he has created numerous formats including: Law & Order: BIG, Anyone Can Draw, Choose Your Own Election, and Bah Humbug--the Improvised Christmas Carol. A member of SAG & Actors' Equity, Mike has performed at the Kennedy Center, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company (CSC), the Studio Theater and elsewhere throughout Baltimore & DC. He has appeared in dozens of local and regional commercials and film projects as well as two episodes of the Apple Series, Servant. His work can be seen on The Siegfried Olsson Band YouTube channel and he is co-host of the Ass Backwards Podcast. Mike is a teaching artist for BIG, CSC, and Endangered Species Theatre Project in Frederick, as well as being on the Faculty at Hood College and the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in DC.
