Service Description
So often in improv, we can find ourselves paralyzed thinking of the "right" move onstage. How can we draw on our natural instincts to be wild and funny while still building a coherent, playable scene? In this 4 week module, we'll learn to recognize the right moments to generate crazy ideas and the right moments to clarify and develop the ideas we already have. Brian Leonard: Brian is a Baltimore-based comedian with 10 years of experience as an improviser. He has been performing with BIG since 2017, on teams like Nature's Dirt, Batmath, Taco Night, Santa's Baby, and most recently, the Crybabies. He is the host and producer of Stanprov, the funniest show in Baltimore. Since 2019, he has coached numerous BIG and indie teams, dispensing considerable wisdom. He is really good at improv. Schedule: 4x Tuesdays, 8/8/23 through 8/29/23 (no class showcase) Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm EST Prerequisite: Level 301 or equivalent with permission from Education Director (please email: kim@bigimprov.org)
