Advanced Unscripted Class!

Service Description

This 7-week course will focus on advanced character development, player connection, and narrative play, culminating in the students performing a fully-improvised play with props, set pieces, costumes, and technical elements. Unscripted has been a staple of the Baltimore Improv Group since 2006. This course is for any student who has taken level one of Unscripted. Taught by Kathryn Carlsen Kathryn has been performing with BIG since 2007. She has taught and created curriculum for improv class since 2009. She has also taught improv at Johns Hopkins Medical School as well as University of Maryland Business School. Currently, she teaches high school theatre and is the lead theatre teacher for Howard County School System. She has performed at improv festivals in Chicago, Austin, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York.
