Kids can join in at the Baltimore Improv Group for a whole week of comedy this summer at The BIG Theater! In our Improv Summer Camp for kids ages 8-12 years, they'll grow their talent as performers. And we're helping kids build confidence through speaking and listening skills.
Campers learn the basics of improv, including creating solid scene work and fun characters. Kids will also learn from different types of improv games.
Baltimore kids can see their self-confidence increase while exploring their own creativity and how group trust and teamwork make for amazing and hilarious theater. The camp concludes with kids starring in a special performance for family and friends!
We think it's a great way to keep kids learning during the summer while having fun with comedy and the performing arts!
In this five-day camp, kids learn how to build hilarious scenes through cooperation and imagination. They'll make friends just by playing goofy improv games through agreement and creativity. Kids can develop stage presence and find their own voice too.
There will be plenty of teamwork when students work in smaller groups focusing on specific, age-appropriate skills with some of Baltimore's best teachers.
