This Sunday’s SMASH UP show is set to provide a new challenge for Baltimore Improv Group performers and new excitement for our audience.
The SMASH UP show provides an opportunity for BIG to bring in some of our friends and favorite performers from across the region. During the first half of the show these troupes will bring their own unique formats and styles to Baltimore’s stage.
The second half will turn into an audience participation heavy event in which the crowd will divide all the performers into two new teams who will perform in a variety of improv games for points and most importantly the audience’s applause.
This Sunday’s show will feature performances from:
Johnson and Joshson: A duo consisting of Josh Kuderna of BIG’s own GUS and Mikael Johnson, a long-time performer and teacher with Washington Improv Theater.
The Future: Hailing from Philadelphia’s nationally recognized Philadelphia Improv Theater, The Future is a mixture of some of PHIT’s most experienced performers an rising stars and consists of Fred Brown Anthony Carter, David Donnella, Mike Marbach, Kristen Schier, Molly Scullion, Caitlin Weigel.
Local Spot: A BIG project troupe consisting of Ti Coleman, Frankie Daniels, Matt Manning, David Lustig, Alan McCombs and John Windmueller.
