Opening weekend was a hit! We sold out two shows, created beautiful plays, and entertained a generous audience. Best of all, we get to do it all again this weekend!
BIG players will create a new two-act play each night of Unscripted. Using audience suggestions and props, our performers generate characters, scenes, and storylines to form a unique theatrical experience. A director, a sound and lighting crew, and visible stage hands also contribute to the performance, building an unrepeatable play every night of Unscripted’s run.
Some of the plays are funny. Some are dark. All of them are a one-night-only engagement.
Just to prove how spontaneous Unscripted is, we encourage audience members to bring unusual objects for use as props.
We don’t know exactly what’s going to happen, and neither do you. That’s the fun part.
Performances are at 8pm every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from April 14th through April 30th, with a special Sunday matinee at 3pm on April 24th. Tickets are $20 for Fri/Sat/Sun shows, $15 for Thursday shows. Parking is available on Howard, Huntingdon, 26th, and other nearby streets around the theater.

MEET THE CAST! A special series to highlight this year’s UNSCRIPTED Cast and Crew
Good Guy Dave
This is Dave LaSalle’s fith season of Unscripted, and he is thrilled to be back. Dave is a regular performer in BIG’s main-stage troupe Training for Prom and project troupe Same Team, proud faculty member of BIG University, and a trainer for BIG’s corporate and nonprofit training division. Recent stage credits include the title in role in Cohesion Theater’s Coriolanus, Hank/Clem in Iron Crow Theater’s The Revelations of Bobby Pritchard, and Peter in Zoo Theater’s Zoo Story. This run is dedicated with love and gratitude to his fiancée the beautiful and talented Kelly Lloyd.
Unscripted Rookie: Laura Davis
She’s no stage rookie!
Laura Davis is a Colorado native who recently moved to Baltimore after 10 lost years in LA where she performed improv at IO West and Second City Hollywood. She discovered her home in Baltimore when she found BIG and her team Lekker. She is an occupational therapist by day, so she never stops improvising. This is her first Unscripted, and the commitment of this cast to creating something authentic and meaningful just for its own sake has been wonderful to experience.
Various Baltimore contribute to the blog.
