Plan B
Plan B performs a mid-form style that combines short form's high level of audience input with the scene work associated with long form. They have also developed entire shows around single themes.

Gus
Gus performs a variety of long-form improvised theater formats, most notably, the swarm style. In December 2008, they plan to debut a new full-length improvised play format.

Mister Licorice
Mister Licorice does long-form improv, with a hint of crazy. (Unfortunately, Mister Licorice is unable to hand out actual licorice during performances. We apologize for any inconvenience.)

The Moving Walkways

Would you rather have a fast food burger or a 4-course meal crafted by a master chef using only the finest locally grown ingredients? The Moving Walkways are the locally grown ingredients in this analogy. Or maybe they're the master chef. In any case, they're definitely not the burger. The Moving Walkways use an audience suggestion to create scenes and characters that remind you that fads may come and go, but your basic needs don't change: You need to be reassured that you're no crazier than anyone else.

Fresh Monkeys

The Fresh Monkeys take on the challenge of a character-based Harold, with crowd-pleasing results. Never thought to associate "Fresh-ness" with "Monkeys"? Well, get ready to have your world turned upside down.

Mrs. Uderhall
Mrs. Uderhall is BIG's newest troupe, composed of members from previous BIG troupes, including Ice Cream Social. Their debut performance will be in May or June 2008. Keep a lookout for this hot new collection of improvisation maniacs!

Student Troupe
BIG also sponsors a student troupe for people interested in learning and experiencing improv theater techniques. The troupe is open to anyone who wants to learn more about improv. It includes past, current, and future BIG improv students. For more details on how to join the student troupe, visit the student troupe page.
